The Variety Merchandise Show was introduced in 1949 as the first tradeshow to offer a one stop shopping opportunity in the general merchandise industry.
Exhibitors of the Show are national and international prime source suppliers: wholesalers, distributors, and manufacturers of general and variety merchandise. Attendees of the Variety Merchandise Show range from volume buying syndicates to owners of small independent retail shops, and everything in between. Each year VMS features thousands of products in about 150 merchandise categories.
At the recent Variety Merchandise Show Safety Aid Supplies received numerous supply orders from the wholesalers, retailers and distributors representing a dozen States of the USA, as well as Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay.
Obviously Nic-Out Cigarette Filter became one of the most exciting products presented at the Merchandise Show in New York. Good proof of it is in the visitors' opinions:
Giuseppe Gregorio, General merchandise retailer: "Probably this is the cheapest device in the whole show. However I am amazed with its potentiality. The matter of fact is that it could easily save millions of lives. Just use it and you can prevent unwanted smoking related diseases."
Zurab Yukhananov, merchant: "Fortunately this miracle invention is already on the table and available in a great quantity in order to cover one of the most immediate needs of the folks."
Alex Stoyanov, sales agent: "I am smoking for many years, and unfortunately this habit was always accompanied with torment morning and night cough. It is hard to believe, but after a few weeks of using Nic-Out I've stop coughing. It's a great joy not just for me, but also for my closest relatives. If I would be able to use this tiny device a few decades ago, probably I could already save a lot on my visits to the doctors."
Tom Kurtis, retail marketing consultant: "I've seen how much of tar is extracted by Nic-Out filter from the smoke of a cigarette. It is so impressive, that I'll advise everybody to use this filter. It is sifting out of the smoke the same substance like asphalt from the street. The difference probably is that the cigarettes are costly, and asphalt you can eat for free. Consider that this is the same tar, same carcinogen, which causes lung cancer and daily kills thousands of people."
